  • PERC Members receive FREE registration for events. All people associated with a member school can register free as a benefit of their institution’s PERC membership. In order to register at this price, your email must be registered in PERC’s member directory. Use the same email as the one in our directory. (The only charge for the conference is $20 per person to cover the food costs.)
  • PERC’s Corporate Sponsors may register a limited number of associates (depending on their level of sponsorship, see the Sponsorship page and the PDF there) FREE for all PERC events.   • Anyone from PERC Affiliated schools may register for events at this price. Anyone associated with an Affiliated school can register at this price. Increasing Commitments to Sustainable Energy on Campus
Solar, Wind, Biofuel, Others. Among other things, this program will explain opportunities to increase solar energy commitments by higher-ed.
  • Michael Rothstein of UGI Performance Solutions and Jay Carlis of Community Energy. Both will be speaking about the current solar market, with its challenges and incentives as it pertains to higher education.
  • John Costlow of the Sustainable Energy Fund, John is expert in facilitationg a path so organizations can make or increase their commitments to sustainable energy.  He will share insights from his SEF work as well as some ideas he has that might apply uniquely to higher education institutions.
  • Paul Lewandowski of AFS Energy Systems will talk about biomass energy and ways for higher ed to make it an affordable part of your sustainable energy mix.
Teaching Climate Change
Teaching the science, politics, ethics, and economics to students and civil society. Among other things, the program will review how and what climate change issues are being taught, what challenges arise in teaching climate change courses including dealing with climate skepticism, and what if anything is being done to not only teach students about climate change but also civil society. Student Involvement In Climate Change and Sustainable Energy in Higher-Ed in Pennsylvania
What are student climate change organizations doing on climate change?  Among other things, this program will open the door to students working on climate change issues on campuses forming a network and exchange experiences.
