EnergyPath 2013

Free Scholarships

for Students and Staff from PERC Member Schools

"Going to the SEF Energy Path boot camps and conference with tenTim hawkins, Shippensburg students was a tremendous experience for all involved and a financial no-brainer. We each received a week-long experience valued at $1500 apiece thanks to our PERC membership. The educational benefit and the tremendous value of the SEF scholarships was enough alone to justify our PERC membership dues to my provost."

Energypath 2012, powered by the Sustainable Energy Fund, is the region’s largest sustainable energy conference. The purpose of Energypath is to create a passion for and understanding of sustainable energy. This year’s theme is ‘Our Global Sustainable Energy Future’. Each year, the conference is attended by more than 400 students, professional educators, dislocated workers and industry professionals.

Energy Camps
The week kicks off with the pre-conference Energy Camps (
July 29 - 31, 2013) which provides a hands-on opportunity for attendees to setup and build a Micro-Hydro, Solar PV, Solar Thermal, or Wind System as well as take an in depth look at a range of Energy Efficiency measures and Energy Policies.

Conference & Expo
The Energy Camps are followed by a 2-day Conference & Expo (
August 1-2, 2013) comprised of over 70 seminars and speakers in sustainable technology, practices, and policies featuring speakers such as Roy Butler, the owner of Four Winds Renewable Energy, and Vera Cole, a Senior Lecturer for the Energy and Sustainability Program at Penn State University in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. Thursday night is the Keynote Dinner featuring speaker Jack Uldrich, a renowned global futurist, independent scholar, sought-after business speaker, and best-selling author of such books as The Next Big Thing is Really Small: How Nanotechnology Will Change the Future of Your Business.
