Multidisciplinary STEM Engagement through Sustainability Education
Registration is now open to PERC members for this workshop
at Penn State's University Park Campus
on September 13th--with an optional session on the 14th.
The invited guest speaker will be
Dr. Thomas Pfaff
, Associate Professor of Mathematics and
Co-Director of Multidisciplinary Sustainability Education Project, Ithaca College

Hosted by the Penn State Center for Sustainability, the Department of Mathematics and the Eberly College of Science Center for Excellence in Science Education
Tentative Agenda
(you may make this a one-day or two-day workshop)
Thursday, September 13
11 AM to 1 PM - Presentation on educating for sustainability and question/answer session
1 PM to 2 PM - Lunch and networking
2 PM to 3:30 PM - Small Group work--meetings with Dr. Pfaff
4 PM to 6 PM - Sustainability in STEM Education working session
7:35 PM to 9:15 PM - College of Education Sustainability Film Series, with post-screening discussion by Dr. Pfaff
Friday, September 14
10 AM - Optional networking and Q&A with Dr. Pfaff
