"Food, Farm, and Field": PERC Member School Event at Chatham University
Start
08 Jul 2012
End
21 Jul 2012
Location
Chatham University’s Eden Hall Campus
Food, Farm, and Field
Summer sustainability course at Chatham University
A great opportunity for
students at
PERC schools.
Experience something different this summer as you live in an idyllic rural setting on Chatham University's Eden Hall Campus, learn about the critical relationship among food, farm, and environment, and earn academic credits through Chatham University's dynamic and affordable two-week summer program, Food, Farm, and Field.
Living on campus for two weeks, you will experience a blend of classroom learning, group discussions, field trips, and hands-on lab and field activities on the farm and in the kitchen. Each day will also include time for fun and relaxation with swimming, hiking, yoga, and reflection (through writing, video and photography).
Download the program information sheet for more information on cost, application requirements, and a sample daily schedule.
For upper level undergraduates and graduate students interested in food studies and sustainable agriculture.
Download the
Farm, Food, and Field program brochure.
