Great Chance for Student Engagement!

If you are teaching a course related to environment, energy or climate, here's a great opportunity for student engagement. As announced in our January "Building the Path" webinar, PERC is collaborating with the Bard Center for Environmental Policy's C2C/EARTH weeks initiative to coordinate web based video-dialogs between campuses and their respective Senators and Congresspeople about climate, clean energy, and green jobs. C2C/EARTH weeks staff will be in Washington, DC to set up the call with the Senator or Representative, and classes will be able to log-in and ask questions. Get involved with the PERC/C2C initiative and our plans for a PERC-multi-campus Skype video calls with Senators Casey and Toomey--as well as the possibility of multiple schools connecting to jointly call their Representative. The calls are currently planned to be scheduled during the first two weeks of April and the first week or May.
