Please join us on January 9, 2015 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (check-in/ breakfast/ networking begin at 9am) on the Susquehanna University campus in Selinsgrove, PA, for this year’s "Teaching About Climate Change" workshop. Participants in the workshop will learn from each other, sharing pedagogies, teaching strategies and innovative activities that they have found to be effective with their students. College and university faculty from across the curriculum, including physical sciences, social sciences and humanities, are welcome to participate.

Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Nancy Harris of the World Resources Institute.  Her talk will be "Monitoring Deforestation with Global Forest Watch." Learn how you can incorporate this exciting tool into your existing climate change curriculum. Find out more about her talk here.

Discover some fresh approaches to communicating about climate change.... and get some laughs at the same time during featured speaker Peterson Toscano's talk "There's Something Funny About Climate Change."

We have lowered the registration costs to allow as many non-Member Institutions as possible to participate in this event.
