"Teaching About Climate Change."

Last January’s workshop “Cooling the Liberal Arts: A Workshop for Teaching About Climate Change” at Dickinson College was such a success that we’re doing it again!

Please join us on January 9, 2015 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on the Susquehanna University campus in Selinsgrove, PA, for this year’s "Teaching About Climate Change" workshop. Participants in the workshop will learn from each other, sharing pedagogies, teaching strategies and innovative activities that they have found to be effective with their students. College and university faculty from across the curriculum, including physical sciences, social sciences and humanities, are welcome to participate.

The program for the workshop will be developed from presentations and topics proposed by registrants. In the registration process, you may propose a presentation on your innovative teaching, and also suggest topics about which you would like to learn from others. Please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues who teach about climate change.

Costs:

PERC Member Schools: $25 food/costs fee

PERC Sponsors: $25 food/costs fee

All other attendees: $99 registration and food
